About Dalton's RV & Jackalope Campground in Sheridan, WY

In June of 2003, the doors to Dalton's RV Center were opened by owners, Dalton and Chari Frederickson. In 2021 we will be celebrating our 18 year anniversary. Today, Dalton's RV Center is EXPANDING the building and service areas to include a campground. We also stock an extensive range of repair Parts and Accessories in our store room.

Our fully equipped New Service Center can cater to just about any job ranging from fixing refrigerators, heaters, air conditioners, to scheduled services or maintenance. Our team provides a professional and friendly atmosphere to make the time spent by our customers a happy and memorable experience. If you are looking for the very first time or you are a seasoned traveler and wish to upgrade, there is plenty to see at Dalton's RV. 

As of September 2020, Dalton's RV welcome in Jackalope Campground! Hosting 50 Full service camp sites, 19 back- in and 41 pull- through, with two desiganted hadicap sites. Our facilities are perfect for travelers looking to get right back on the road, or even visitors looking to explore Sheridan! Guests have access to our laundry facilities and three private bathrooms/showers and speedy wifi. We are also very pet friendly and have a great grassy area for your furry friends to enjoy their stay as well! All this while sporting one of the best views of the Bighorn mountains that Sheridan has to offer.

Our Policies



General Policies

• Lobby/ check-in hours: 8 am- 5 pm, If you plan to check in later please call ahead so we can arrange a spot.
• Check-in age: you must be at least 18 to check-in. Guests 17 and under are considered children.
• Maximum occupancy is 6 people per campsite.
• The laundry room is open 24/7.
• Shower houses will be closed 3 pm-4 pm for cleaning. They are open all other hours.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

• With each reservation a deposit of $20 must be made to confirm. If a cancellation is made before 2 week prior to ones stay, the deposit will be refunded. Any cancellation made in the 2 week will not qualify for the refund of that $20 deposit.
• We do not give credit or refunds due to weather. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
• Patrons that do not check-out by the designated check-out time will be required to pay for another day's rental fee of the site. If you arrive after the office is closed, you MUST check in at the office before 10:00 AM the following day or your site will be released for rental.
• No refunds will be given for early departures or no shows.
• If there are any issues with the site you are at, please tell us and we will make other arrangements if possible.

Campground Rules

• Please use the dumpster by the bath house for your trash.
• Please do not wash your vehicles.
• Visitors: Visitors must register and sign a waiver at the office before entering the park. All guests must leave the park by 10:00 pm. Maximum occupancy is 6 people per campsite
• Quiet Hours: As a courtesy to your neighbors, quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM. All minors must be at their campsite unless escorted by an adult after 10:00 PM. Please be considerate of others. No loud music at any time. Anyone causing excessive noise or disturbance will be asked to leave without a refund.
• Please do not shortcut through your neighbors' campsite.
• Vehicles: No more than 2 licensed vehicles are allowed per site, unless given special permission by management. No parking on the grass. If you have visitors, please check in at the office for a location to park.
• Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground, put them in trash cans.
• Clothes lines are prohibited. No ropes or chains tied to utilities, trees or signs.

Safety

• Drive Slowly and Watch for Children
• Please leave ATMs and four wheelers parked at site and only drive to exit the campground
• Pets: Friendly pets that are current with their vaccinations are welcome. Pets must always be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet long. Only non-aggressive, quiet household pets are permitted. No aggressive or excessive barking dogs allowed. You are allowed 2 pets per site any extra are allowed with applicable fee paid. No pets may be chained up outside without supervision. All pets must be inside your RV during quiet hours unless being walked on a leash.
• Please do not let your pets use the bathroom on neighboring business lawns. Any guest caught violating this policy will be fined to cover the lawn fees.
